1. General
These Terms & Conditions govern all services provided by PrimeEdge Home Care Ltd (“the Company”) to the customer (“you”). By accepting a quote or allowing work to commence, you agree to these terms in full.
2. Quotes
All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Quotes are based on information provided by the customer and/or a visual assessment. The Company reserves the right to revise a quote if additional issues are discovered upon commencing work. Any revised pricing will be communicated and agreed before additional work proceeds.
3. Bookings & Cancellations
- More than 48 hours notice: No charge.
- 24–48 hours notice: Cancellation fee of 25% of the quoted price.
- Less than 24 hours notice: Cancellation fee of 50% of the quoted price.
- Same-day cancellation or no access on arrival: Up to 100% of the quoted price may be charged.
Cancellations due to severe weather are exempt and will be rescheduled at no cost.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. For jobs over £500, a deposit of up to 30% may be required. Invoices unpaid after 14 days will incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998.
5. Weather Delays
Services cannot be carried out in heavy rain, frost, ice, high winds (above 25 mph), or lightning. If conditions are deemed unsafe, the job will be rescheduled at no extra cost. Customers will not be penalised for weather-related rescheduling.
6. Guarantees
All roof cleaning services include a 12-month BAC50 biocide treatment guarantee against moss, algae, and lichen regrowth on treated surfaces. Conditions:
- Applies only to surfaces treated on the date of service.
- Customer must notify us in writing within the 12-month period.
- Does not cover regrowth caused by new debris, overhanging trees, or blocked gutters.
- Non-transferable — applies to original customer and property only.
- If conditions are met, the Company will re-treat the affected area free of charge.
Repair work carries a 12-month workmanship guarantee covering defects in work carried out by PrimeEdge Home Care Ltd. This excludes damage from extreme weather, third-party interference, or pre-existing structural issues.
7. Liability
PrimeEdge Home Care Ltd carries full public liability insurance. The Company is not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage or fragile/degraded tiles not identified before work commenced.
- Damage caused where surfaces were not of adequate structural integrity.
- Consequential or indirect losses including loss of income or property value.
The Company’s total liability shall not exceed the total value of the service provided.
8. Customer Responsibilities
- Ensure clear access to the property, roof, and gutters on the agreed date.
- Inform us of any known structural issues or hazards before work begins.
- Remove or secure items near the work area that could be affected.
- Ensure someone is available or reachable by phone on the day of service.
9. Privacy & Data
Personal data collected during quoting or booking is used solely to deliver our services. We do not sell or share your data with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
