How we do it
- Free visit. We check the boards up close, press for soft spots and tell you whether they need a clean, a repaint or a repair. Then you get a fixed written price.
- Clean. Dirt, green streaks and old cobwebs taken off, so we can see what we’re working with.
- Prepare. Flaking paint sanded back by hand and small cracks filled.
- Paint. Two coats of exterior paint or stain, neat lines along the brick and the gutter.
- Photo report. Before-and-after photos of every side we worked on.

Clean, repaint or replace?
Most tired fascias don’t need replacing. On a job in Little London this October the boards looked rough from the ground, but the timber underneath was still sound. We sanded them back and gave them two coats, and that was all they needed. If we find rot, we show you the photos first and price the repair separately. You decide.
Common questions
How do I know if my fascias need work?
Peeling or flaking paint, dark stains, green streaks, or a board that’s started to sag or pull away from the wall. If water drips behind the gutter when it rains, that’s worth a look too.
Do you replace fascias and soffits?
Yes. Short rotten sections can be cut out and replaced. If a whole run has gone, we’ll tell you and price it properly.
Can you clean uPVC fascias?
Yes. uPVC fascias and soffits are cleaned by hand, usually on the same visit as the gutters.
Can you paint in any weather?
No. Paint needs dry wood and a dry day to go on properly, so if it’s wet or freezing we move the job and let you know.
